Should Messi leave Barcelona? This question is spreading out wide all over the world.

Lionel Messi is furious. After Messi getting humiliated (8-2) against Bayern Munich in the Champions League's semi-finals of 2020 with millions of people watching. And losing his temper because Messi's good friend Luis Suarez was recently kicked out of Barcelona because the club manager didn't want the 33-year-old in the club anymore. He is very angry with the team and managers and wants to leave Barcelona.

Many people think Messi should leave because after 20 years of playing, four champions league trophy wins and 10 LaLiga title wins in total.

The team is falling apart. This is because everybody is getting old, and the people that they've sold for lots of money for over ten years are Neymar, Iniesta, Suarez, Xavi, Ronaldinho, and Pique, and they've not replaced any of their talents. Almost all of their players are over 30 years old, which, for soccer, is old, and they can't be as good a player as they were. The average age that soccer players play until retirement is 35 years old, but most players already move to a different club at 32 or 33. That is mostly in America or China because those countries have less intensity in matches. According to Fabrizio Romano, Messi, who is 33 years old and is still a star player because of his incredible talent, wants to leave Barcelona and join a better club.

Messi wants to leave.

Messi wants to leave Barcelona to join a different team that is better and has connections with, but because Messi is one of the best soccer players, he needs a quality salary, and that means that there can only be a few clubs that can pay him.

What should Messi's salary be?

The clubs that can afford Messi are PSG, Manchester City, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan. Messi's salary is 646,000 euros per week or 36 million in a year, but research shows that his salary should be less than 500,000 euros per week because he is getting older.

Where to move to?

Reliable sources like ESPN and The Guardian show that people found out that most people think Messi should go to PSG. According to Besoccer.com, a website that writes all about soccer transfers says that PSG is very interested in buying the Argentinian star. Besoccer.com says, "PSG continues to dream about the Argentine star in their attempt to play him alongside Neymar and Mbappé to form one of the best strike forces in the world."

Manchester City

Another option could be Manchester City. It could be Manchester City because of Pep Guardiola. Pep Guardiola is a good friend of Messi. They have a history together at Barcelona because they used to play together and because Pep Guardiola became a coach at Barcelona and had 4 of the best years there. Messi believes he's a good coach. It would be a good deal for Messi because Manchester City is a great team and lots of money.

Messi is one of the greatest soccer players ever, and it’s upsetting that he's probably going to leave Barcelona to join a better team but he wants to leave and he should join a team he can play well with, so he can win more and mark the end of his long and illustrious career.
